Version 2026-07-27-r18 — last updated: 27/07/2026
The microphone and camera permissions requested by DoggieAI Live are browser security controls, not cookies or advertising-consent categories. They are requested when you start Live or choose to turn on the camera, and you can revoke them in your browser settings.
This notice describes the cookies and other browser storage used by DoggieAI. Strictly necessary technologies are enabled by default. Persistent chat storage, Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement are enabled only after a positive choice for the relevant category. Ad personalisation remains disabled even when you allow advertising measurement.
Necessary technologies do not require consent and cannot be disabled through the manager because they are needed to transmit and provide the service you requested. “Reject all” therefore means rejecting everything optional and retaining only necessary technologies.
| Name | Type and purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
doggieai_session |
First-party cookie used for request security, temporary messages and the staff’s authenticated session. | Session | Necessary |
doggieai_cookie_consent_v5 |
First-party local storage that keeps the choice, categories, notice version and random consent token, so the banner is not repeatedly displayed. | 6 months | Necessary |
doggieai_session_token_tab |
Tab storage that links free messages to the current conversation. | Until the tab is closed | Necessary |
doggieai_chat_legal_<version> |
Tab storage that avoids repeating, during the same visit, the age confirmation, acceptance of the Terms and acknowledgement of notices already completed. | Until the tab is closed | Necessary |
| Name | Type and purpose | Duration | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
doggieai_session_tokendoggieai_session_token_saved_at
|
First-party local storage that lets you retrieve the free conversation on the same device after closing the tab. | Up to 180 days after the last save, or until consent is withdrawn or browser data is deleted | Preferences — consent |
doggieai_ga* |
First-party identifiers used by Google Analytics to distinguish visits pseudonymously and produce aggregate site-usage statistics. | Up to 180 days, or until consent is withdrawn | Analytics — consent |
_gcl_* |
Where possible, these link a sign-up or contact to an advertising campaign. DoggieAI sends the event, value, currency and a technical transaction identifier to prevent duplicates; card details are not sent to Google. | Up to 90 days, or until consent is withdrawn | Advertising measurement — consent |
If you withdraw “Preferences”, persistent chat storage is removed and the conversation can continue in the open tab. If you withdraw “Analytics” or “Advertising measurement”, DoggieAI immediately updates the consent signals, stops sending new events and removes the relevant first-party storage created on its domain.
Remote Google code is requested only after at least one of the two Google categories has been allowed. Google signals for ad personalisation are disabled. The services involved are Google Analytics and Google Ads; more information is available in the Google Privacy Policy.
You can reopen the manager at any time using the cookie button at the bottom left or the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier use. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.
To document the choice, the server records a random token, the outcome, categories, notice version, date and expiry, a non-reversible HMAC fingerprint of the IP address and essential browser information. The register is retained for up to 730 days and is accessible only to authorised staff. The technical browser preference expires after six months; the manager may be shown earlier only after substantial changes or when the browser no longer makes the previous choice available.
When the widget is embedded in another website, doggieai_session_token_tab
and doggieai_chat_legal_<version>
technically belong to the host website’s origin and last only until the tab is closed. They are necessary to link messages and do not require prior consent, but they must be described in the host website’s cookie notice.
The widget does not enable persistent “Preferences” storage by itself on an external website. It may be used only if the host expressly integrates its own consent manager with DoggieAI and the user enables it. The Google tag described above belongs only to native pages on ai.doggieeducation.online and is not included in the standard widget. The standard widget alone, without analytics, marketing or profiling, does not require a banner for optional technologies; obligations concerning other technologies used by the host website still apply.
When you continue to payment or the customer portal, you leave DoggieAI and open a Stripe page. Stripe may use its own necessary technologies for security, fraud prevention and payment management under its notice. Doggie Education and DoggieHub have separate notices for technologies used on their respective websites.
